Sway x Brothers Brewing Collaboration

Jessica Davies
September 19, 2018

In September we got our hands on our very own, Sway branded beer. Our friendly neighbourhood brewers, Asa and Colton Proveau at Brothers Brewing, created a beer series to celebrate the Petrie Building and the businesses inside it. This seemed appropriately timed since we just celebrated our first anniversary working inside the historic building!

Our limited edition beer, Sway Yourself, is summer in a beer bottle with its strong citrus flavours. The orange session saison represents Sway with its refreshing taste in combination with the bold and visual label.

Our upstairs neighbour, The Modern Bride, also got their own beer called Glitter and Gold. With its light strawberry and rhubarb notes, the glitter session embodies the bridal boutique in an elegant and stylish bottle.

Brothers Brewing created the limited edition collaboration beers in the same way they make all their beers. This means they handled every part of the process, including the bottling process which they invited us down to see.

On September 4th, we headed down to Brothers’ Ale House to celebrate the beers with our Petrie Building neighbours. It was a great way to start our second year surrounded by the supportive community we are now proud to be a part of in downtown Guelph.

If you’re in downtown Guelph, be sure to head over to the Petrie Building for some Brothers Brewing beer—you might even catch the Sway team enjoying a pint! Otherwise, come see Sway Yourself by heading upstairs to unit D.
